Long Beach City Hero Squad, is a non-profit organization to spread awareness about Autism at schools. It was founded by Jennifer Coats whose son is Autistic. When Mrs. Coats found out her son was autistic, she did everything she could to research about autism so that her son would grow up in an environment that was positive and supportive. She later found that many mother's wanted the same environment for their autistic child, which inspired Mrs. Coats to spread her knowledge about autism and provide a community in our schools that harbored a safe non-bullying environment. When we had discussions to create a logo for the LBC Hero Squad, we wanted to create an all inclusive logo that had emphasis of the national Autism symbol (puzzle piece and blue). We ended up coming up with a logo that was a heart, differentiated with 4 different colored pieces spelling out "HERO". When all these pieces come together, only then, we become Heroes. We wanted the logo to represent that all humanity is represented in this logo and LBC Hero Squad will stand with you to reach your full potential.
Acute Plumbing needed a logo. Their mission statement was a Plumbing service that not only fixes the problem, but gets to the root of it. The concept of the logo is to showcase the cyclical flow of water in houses and shaping the "A" in Acute as a drop of water.
